Hurrah Art Club is a friendly, creative space for anyone who wants to make art, chat, and connect.
People come for all sorts of reasons: to build their art and craft skills, to start from scratch, to meet others, or simply to have some company and keep their hands busy while they talk.
You don’t need to be “arty” to join in. Sometimes it’s just nice to sit, make, and be around kind people. Art has real benefits for our minds, our bodies, and our hearts.
I’ve spent over 20 years in creative education, including 17 years teaching and managing degree-level Fine Art, Illustration, and Contemporary Craft. These days, I also teach in a SEND school, so you can feel completely at ease knowing you’re in safe, experienced, and understanding hands.
I’ve also experienced first-hand how creativity can help with grief, loneliness, and life’s ups and downs. Hurrah Art Club is a gentle, welcoming space where you can relax, have a cuppa, eat some cake, and create something lovely, whatever that means for you.
